Delaire Graff Lodges and Spa
WESTERN CAPE, SOUTH AFRICA
“You would expect tip-top luxury from diamond magnate and art collector Laurence Graff and his Cape Winelands estate certainly delivers on that front. There are just ten suites, all beautifully decorated by British interior designer David Collins and built with double-height ceilings and glass-fronted bedrooms and serviced by private butlers. There’s also a communal outdoor infinity pool (with just ten suites, it is rarely busy), two restaurants, private cinema, gym, spa, art collection and winery. We stayed for four days and barely left the estate - there is plenty to do and plenty of ways to do nothing... However, do make sure that you leave at least twice - once to visit the Tokara winery, just across the road (one of South Africa’s best) and again for dinner at the acclaimed Rust en Vrede restaurant (book well in advance). The hotel is also just 45 minutes from Cape Town which makes for an easy day trip to see the sights.”

Quiet, secluded and discreet - this is place to come with your beau.
Watching the sun set while sipping the estate’s own wine and sitting in our private plunge pool.
Best time to go
March to May has good sun and less wind.
There are no bad rooms, but the views from lodges 7-10 are limited.
