The Drake Hotel
“Has Toronto always been this cool?! My fiancé and I spent a long weekend at The Drake, largely because Toronto is such an easy hop from our home in NYC. We were both shocked to discover what a hip, cosmopolitan city it is, and we have The Drake to thank. The hotel’s restaurants include everything from a raw bar to a local-approved bistro, and the rooftop bar and dance club in the basement are perfect for experiencing nightlife without having to schlep home in the wee hours (our room type was actually called a Crash Pad). The modern rooms aren’t huge, but they’re comfortable and stylish, plus affordably priced!”

A fun Toronto experience that puts hip at your fingertips.
A significant other or group of fun-loving friends.
Being greeted with popcorn and champagne upon arrival was a delightful surprise and instantly got us into the spirit of The Drake.
Best time to go
The summer is crowded but full of things to do, while spring and fall have tame weather without peak prices.
We found our room to be surprisingly quiet even amidst prime nightlife hours, but to be extra sure that you have a quiet stay, book a corner room.
$200-$350 per room per night.
