Eden Roc at Cap Cana
CAP CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
“My boyfriend and I stayed at Eden Roc this past March, and it was EXACTLY what we needed/were looking for! Stunning resort, spacious suite with our own private pool, peace and quiet, and amazing attitudes from every member of the staff. Extreme serenity and privacy in one of the most beautiful locations. We enjoyed breakfast in the Mediterraneo Restaurant every morning, which included a huge variety of buffet items, or the option to order off the menu.
One morning we event got a Dominican breakfast as a change up from the regular options. It was phenomenal. Equally as great was the excellent Red Snapper, scallops and risotto we had for dinner. We needed to be rolled out of the restaurants after each meal! We loved driving our personal golf cart to the beach each day (about a 3 minute trip), and lounging on the padded beds along the ocean. There was a server that attended to us armed with whatever drinks we wanted (we opted for mimosas). Heaven! The spa was also a nice addition – small and beautiful. Both of our therapists for our couples massage were really great. Overall, the entire property truly is stunning, even more so than we saw in pictures. We were very happy with our choice!”

Some R&R in an amazing location. There aren’t a ton of activities available as there are with most resorts, so you can truly enjoy the tranquility.
We went as a couple but saw a few families at the resort as well. All had great things to say about the kids club!
Flora, the reservations manager, arranged for us two days of scuba diving with a great local dive company. She handled everything… all we had to do was show up. It was some of the best diving we’ve ever done!
Best time to go
We went in spring which was great, but winter is likely the most popular as travelers attempt to escape the gold.
The resort is pretty isolated. For us, this was great because we wanted just that: a quiet getaway. Just know that unless you plan to pay for taxis or are up for a 20 minute golf cart ride, there’s not any nearby shopping or restaurants.
Rooms start at $700 per night, depending on room type and when you book.
