“Feeling spontaneous, I called Farmhouse Inn on a last minute whim as my boyfriend and I wanted a weekend holiday. We booked one of the precious cottages, and the rustic theme throughout the room, and the entire property for that matter, were right up my alley. I wish our house looked exactly like it! We had the best time chilling by the pool, getting massages at the spa, or just sitting on our balcony in the evenings with a nice glass of wine.
Everything about the inn was just incredible. From the lush, flower-filled gardens full of herbs, the quaint cottages, beautiful and comfortable pool area, and gorgeous restaurant, it all just blew our minds. The Michelin-starred restaurant more than lived up to the hype, with a three course breakfast. The combinations were also quirky which made it even more enjoyable. Even better was the service. Upon arrival, we just mentioned we would like a couple of dinner reservations and a wine tour arranged. Next thing we knew, a full itinerary was emailed to us with everything taken care of. You also can’t beat the turndown service at night, complete with cookies and milk. Or the “goody box” that was in our room, full of treats that I’ll keep a secret for the sake of surprise! This is really as good as it gets in wine country.”

We loved it because everything we did allowed us to just enjoy each other… quality at every moment.
It’s a very romantic property, so come with your significant other, or close friends who love wine as much as you do.
We treated ourselves to Randall’s Wine Tour, recommended by the inn. He is a local of Sonoma County, and a true pleasure. We indulged in amazing wines with a unique personal touch which made it unforgettable.
Best time to go
We went in the fall and it was absolutely beautiful.
If your trip is very short and you want to hit a ton of Napa wineries, this may be a little too far off the grid.
Rates start at $600 and up depending on room type.
