“Location, location, location - you can’t beat Castille for that! Next door to the original Chanel atelier, steps from Laudurée and walking distance from Galeries Lafayette - it is a shopper’s paradise. Interiors have recently been renovated and decor is classic Parisian with a contemporary twist: 18th- and 19th-century artworks, neutral colors with plenty of monochrome, textured and patterned walls and both modern and antiques finishes and furnishings. It feels sophisticated and on-trend. Staff are very helpful - especially the concierge - and while it’s not the Georges V or Le Crillon, it is great value for this location and a very nice stay.”

Romance with shopping - but you decide...
Benoit the concierge is the real deal - always on point with his recommendations and managed to get us excellent opera tickets at very short notice.
Best time to go
Late Spring is lovely in Paris and the hotel’s restaurant has a pretty outdoor courtyard which makes a romantic dinner setting.
Rooms are on the small side - as is often the case in central Paris. Internet connection is not great - if you don’t need it, don’t bother buying access.
