Mandarin Oriental, Paris
“Mandarin Oriental hotels always provide a standard of quality and service that you know you can trust… well! this newest Paris location raises the bar. No luxury is spared at this magnificent hotel. From the Frette bathrobes and sheets to the Bang & Olufsen TVs in the room (including bathroom), the Fabrice Gillotte chocolate treats and the Diptyque amenities – everything is the best of the best. The rooms though modern are sumptuous – all silk and sunlight – decorated with edgy Man Ray photographs printed on velvet. Location is superb – on the rue St-Honoré, mere steps from all the best shopping and the Place Vendome. Now, a stay here is pretty pricey, but the incredible treatment and absolute comfort we experienced here made it worth every penny!”

Business travel or a pleasure visit.
Solo or as a couple. While not exactly a family hotel, they are quite accommodating for the little ones from what I could see during my stay.
After getting off a long and tiresome flight from LA, arriving to the MO in Paris was simply a joy. Check-in was smooth and easy, from the doormen to the sweet woman at reception – everybody greeted us with our names and wide smiles, as if we were regulars. The past 14 hours on a bumpy flight seemingly evaporated.
Best time to go
Paris is always a pleasure! Although summers get the vacation crowds, so that would be the time to avoid.
If you’ve stayed at a Mandarin Oriental before you’ll know what to expect. And if this is your first time in Paris, know that this hotel stay won’t feel all that French.
