Park Hyatt New York
NEW YORK CITY
“I live nearby in Connecticut, but had the opportunity to stay the night just before Christmas at the newly revamped Park Hyatt. The magical holiday energy and evening out dancing at The Rainbow Room only added to the pleasure we had during our stay. Located across the street from Carnegie Hall and a block from Central Park, it is a stunning, one-of-NYC’s bests, and to boot: as sleek and modern as they come. I’ve stayed at most top NYC hotels over the years, and promise you, this property makes the top three!
As with other Park Hyatts, the service isn’t just ‘well-trained’. They take pride in making guests feel at ease, and hopping to it when called for any request. It is one of the many elements that make seasoned travelers stay at such a property and become loyal: quickly. The architectural feat of this ground-up build is awe-inspiring – no cost spared. One of NYC’s most amazing lap pool and gym/spa area, I can see there being a successful local area membership if offered. Our Park Deluxe King room streamed with light; gorgeous floor to ceiling windows, a walk-in rain shower, signature Le Labo products, heated marble bathroom floors, and soaking tub were all so appreciated after what had been a long day at work.”

Business stay in the city, or a family sightseeing trip.
The hotel is very family-friendly, with an amazing indoor pool that kids would love, complete with stunning city views.
I had the pleasure of experiencing the hotel’s spa for a 60 minute, much-needed massage. The spa is so beautiful, complete with six treatment suites, a spa terrace, steam room and hot tub. Ahhh…. Such an escape from the bustling city streets 21 floors below…
Best time to go
NYC is great any time of year one needs or wants to visit. To me, the hotel feels more “Fall/Winter/Spring” than it does Summer.
The area is somewhat touristy/ commercial with many office buildings and large hotels. If you are seeking a charming neighborhood, this location would not be for you.
Rooms start at $600 per night.
