“Let me start by saying that photos of this place don’t do it justice. We were stunned by the unbelieveable sunset the moment we arrived. From here, we knew we had made the right choice. After arriving with our own personal driver, we went through a smooth check in, into our enormous villa. We paid for panoramic views, and it’s safe to say it was worth every penny after waking up to those sunrises.
We spent most of our time lounging by the pool and poolside bar, where the selection of mojitos were to die for. Be sure to try the watermelon one, we might have overdone it on those but it was worth it! They staff was amazing in getting us set up by the pool each day, and getting paddle board, snorkeling, kayaking, etc. equipment ready for us. We were sure to take part in all the experiences the resort had to offer, and it really allowed us to experience the beauty of it all. Another thing we loved about this paradise was that we felt as if we were truly escaping everything from our “real lives.” You truly get the ability to experience that at Raffles Praslin.”

Feeling like royalty in Seychelles.
We had a fantastic time as a couple, and I may recommend to leave the kids at home for this one.
Paddle boarding in the crystal clear waters. It was nice to get a tiny workout in between our mojitos by the pool!
Best time to go
Snorkeling in the Seychelles islands is great year round, but if you want to dive, March – May and September – November might be best.
The resort is situated on a hill with a very hilly terrain, but the staff is wonderful and there are many buggies available for transportation if you don’t want to climb many stairs. Something to note if you’re traveling with elderly guests and may need to wait a bit if a buggy isn’t available.
Rooms start at $500 per night.
