Tanque Verde Ranch
“My daughter is an avid rider, but the rest of the family haven’t really spent a lot of time near horses, so Tanque Verde was perfect as it caters for beginners and more experienced riders. The ranch is set in the Rincon mountains. The buildings are classic adobe builds decorated in a modern, rustic and cosy style. We loved them. As a family, we loved the Hacienda suites as they had a lot more space and we could stay together. The fireplaces were also handy for chilly evenings.
There are 180 horses on site, all excellently trained and with great instructors and trail ride leaders. My daughter was on horseback the entire time, but the rest of us split out time between riding, hiking, biking and swimming in the beautiful pool. There are sixty thousands acres of desert to explore, so you’ll never be bored!”
