The Chedi Andermatt
“From the outside, you would never believe what a masterpiece this hotel is. Nestled in the beautiful scenery of the Swiss Alps, my partner and I had quite the amazing experience at this fabulous place. From the knowledgeable and lovely staff, to the luxuriously cozy room, we loved every second of our stay. We were there in the winter, and took full advantage of the ski butler service. The ski area was just enough for our long weekend stay.
The main draw for me, however, was the spa… it was a dream! It is truly state of the art, offering hydrotherapy, steam baths, saunas, and a refreshing 33-meter pool. It was the ideal place for total relaxation, especially after longs days of hitting the slopes. I also highly recommend the restaurant, with a most phenomenal wine list. The rooms are just as amazing. Ours was very spacious, with a view that simply cannot be beat. Is there anything better to wake up to than a full view of the Alps?”

Everything at this property is so very well thought out, down to the finest detail. It is the ideal place to come for a complete switch off.
Come with your partner. The scenic views and the property itself couldn’t be more romantic.
Honestly, one of our favorite things about staying here was afternoon tea, served in sofa beds around the fireplace in the hall. What an amazing way to end the day!
Best time to go
It’s truly great year round: skiing in the winter, and a multitude of outdoor activities in the summer: hiking, mountain biking, golf, etc.
Andermatt is a small town with little to do, but we rarely wanted to leave the hotel!
Rooms start at $450 per night depending on when you stay.
