“My favorite for London stays. Enter another world, where period beauty meets modern accents — and excellent martinis! Great location away from the center of Mayfair, but tucked away behind it — easy to walk to almost anywhere and near some of the city’s most fun and yummy restaurants. Cushy, traditional and chic. Staff rarely puts a well-shod foot wrong.”

Business, romance, culture... you name it. Hushed and sophisticated.
Your business associate or your partner and make sure you spend time together in the hotel — Espelette’s glass conservatory on the corner of Mount Street makes a lovely lunch, meeting or afternoon tea spot (and serves the best madeleines outside of Paris!)
Coming in from the gruesome London cold to a roaring fire in the lounge, a delicious tea and scones and settling in for the afternoon. So cosy, so calm.
Best time to go
London is best in Summer or Autumn (although the fire in the lounge will warm you even in deepest, darkest winter).
Look online at room options; if you like more traditional, book in the original building. More modern, the new wing.
Classic style with modern influences, colored in champagne and cream or eau de nil and duck-egg blue. Planning on staying a while? Check into the Apartment designed by David Collins and decorated like an art lover’s private home.
Service & vibe
Discreet elegance, glamour and white-glove service. Exceptional staff, lovely, calm style.
Two Michelin-starred, classic, French-inspired cuisine at Hélène Darroze at the Connaught or top quality relaxed bistro style at Espelette, where huge windows bathe the room in light. The Sommelier’s Table is top pick for oenophiles: private table in the wine cellar, wine menu devised with head sommelier Hugues Lepin and Hélène Darroze tasting menu made to match.

To Do & See
All of London’s sights within easy reach. Mount Street next door a must — a mixture of traditional butchers and print shops with stylish brands such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Wunderkind and Goyard.
Sport & Activity
Horse riding in Hyde Park is a lovely way to spend a few hours before slinking back and relaxing in the Connaught’s Aman spa.
Spa & Grooming
Reserve your massage or facial in the Aman Spa on the lower ground floor complete with pool. Stunning. The first in a non-Aman property anywhere in the world.
So much choice! Try the legendary Scott’s on Mount Street, quirky Sketch on Conduit Street. (All under an 8 minute walk from the hotel)
Louboutin, Marc Jacobs, Goyard, William & Son, Purdey, Balenciaga... You’re going to need a bigger bag...
