“Our best friends were celebrating their anniversary and invited my husband and me along, and we had the most amazing time! Once we were in route, we rang the hotel to arrange for someone to be there to receive us. They were waiting for us when our vaporetto arrived, and were absolutely welcoming and charming. We received a code to let ourselves in as there are only six rooms. Because it is so small and in Venissa on the tiny island of Mazzorbo, the place is so tranquil you just feel all your stress lifting off you.
We were happy to stay in the off season for the peace and quiet as we love the outer island. I do wish we could have enjoyed a meal at the Michelin starred restaurant which was closed for the season, but it was very cool to wander around the island without barely seeing a soul. Matteo Bisol runs the establishment and was always around to answer any questions we had. He gave us an informative tour around the vineyard, which was so interesting and a real must if you are a wine lover! When the weather was nice, we would take breakfast outside on the terrace with a few of the vineyard and listen to the bird chirping. So peaceful.”

Enjoying some of the best wine you’ll ever have in near seclusion while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Your significant other. The perfect location to just enjoy each other’s company.
Matteo arranged a rowing lesson for us with the local rowing association where they taught us the ropes and we enjoyed the unbelievable landscape. Talk about top notch service paired with stunning views!
Best time to go
We really loved going in the off season because it was so quiet, but would like to try peak season when the fabulous restaurant is open.
It’s a bit out of the way, 30 minutes by boat from Venice, but the boat trips were a nice way to start and end the day and very punctual. You can also walk from the resort into Burano in about 10 minutes.
Rooms start at $300 per night.
