Villa Feltrinelli

“What exquisite luxury! To begin with, the staff is about double the amount of the guests at the villa, which means that service is beyond anything you’ve ever experienced – attentive perfection. The entire property is like the most magnificent Italian summerhouse you’ve ever seen – the beautiful villa, mountains in the background with expertly manicured lawns, gravel paths, cypress trees, and the lake in the foreground… I’m already dreaming about our return.

The rooms were stupendous (frescoes, carved wood ceilings, chandeliers, vintage and modern touches, Acqua di Parma bath products). I would recommend a Premium Junior Suite – with a lake view and balcony – lovely for pre-dinner sunset drinks. Oh, and you must experience dinner here! The Michelin-starred restaurant is superb. Head chef Stefano Baiocco studied under Ferran Adrià so you know you’re eating from the best – his take on tomato and mozzarella was one of the most memorable appetizers of any Italian hotel. A stay here is an expensive one, but truly worth every penny, and more!”

Memorable moment
