Now this is the type of boot camp we all like to hear about... Five days of "full immersion" education in the ways of wine. The Chêne Bleu Extreme Wine Experience is based on the beautiful La Verrière estate in Provence, which creates the award-winning biodynamic Chêne Bleu wines. Participants are tutored by top Masters of Wine and Qualified WSET tutors Clive Barlow MW and Nick Dumergue. Lessons mix theory with practice, via lectures, hands-on activities in the vineyard, wine games and - of course - tastings.

The course is geared towards any level of enthusiast, so whether you want to be able to ask all of the questions you pretended to previously know the answer to, or build on an existing bank of knowledge. Plus, by the end of the course, you'll be creating your own assemblage in order to achieve the globally recognized WSET Intermediate Certification.

Accommodation is on the estate, in the Provençal-chic rooms at La Verriere. The vineyard lies at the heart of a UNESCO biosphere reserve, and the surroundings are dreamy. Sit back and relax while admiring the 24 hectares of Rhone grape varieties — there's no better way to end a wine-filled day.
