Copacabana Palace

“The famous Copacabana! We immediately felt like we were transported to old Hollywood: sunbathing by the magnificent pool to sipping cocktails at the Bar do Copa. Although the location is in South America, the architecture is Mediterranean, the food is Italian, the afternoon tea is British — a worldly experience!”

Great for
Strolling through the gardens of Rio, exploring the Tijuca Forest, catching rays and people watching on Copacabana beach…

With whom
Great with your partner and/or a fun group of friends to enjoy the city & scene.

Memorable moment
Carnival is an amazing time to visit Rio- the elaborate costumes and parades make for an electric environment.

Best time to go
High summer is January to March – the best time to soak up that hot Brazilian sun! Carnival is usually in February. (November and December are also very nice, and quieter pre-Christmas season)

Be aware
Many nationalities need a visa, check in advance. Airport pick up is a must do – better not to have a local taxi.

From $350 per room, per night.
