Mandarin Oriental Barcelona

“My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Barcelona, one of our favorite cities, with two things in mind: food and relaxation. That’s what led us to the Mandarin Oriental. Although the hotel is so centrally located in the heart of the city and amongst many amazing restaurants, we rarely took a meal elsewhere. We always had breakfast at the hotel, with an excellent selection of both hot and cold food from the buffet, and an a la carte menu as well.

If you can’t get into the hotel’s Michelin starred restaurant, (thankfully we did), there’s even an opportunity to sample the cuisine right on the breakfast buffet – what a treat! The only thing that made us happier than the food and spa was our room. We had our own terrace, and the sheets and black out shades ensured a restful and peaceful night’s sleep. After a day of exploring the city’s stunning architecture, we couldn’t have been happier to come “home” and be greeted by friendly smiles then retire to our perfect and cozy room. We know where we’ll stay the next time we come back to this beautiful city.”
