Principe Forte dei Marmi

“A beautiful classic style resort right on the Tuscan coast. Not only did we absolutely love staying here (so close to the beach, we really took advantage of that) but its location is wonderful for day trips. We spent one day in Pisa and another in Florence, both close enough to spend a couple hours or even the entire day. Coming back to this hotel after a long day is just perfect- we would enjoy some wine and local Italian inspired dishes (paired deliciously by the sommelier) and sit out and enjoy the warm evenings. The kids loved it and met other kids their ages with whom they are keeping in touch. ”

Great for
TThis seaside location is great for spending some quality time with a lover. Soak up the sun at the beach or sip fine Italian wines while taking in the magnificent mountain and ocean views.

With whom
With the family – for youngsters babysitting can be arranged (and the gelato is a daily entertainment lever).

Memorable moment
The rooftop bar is the place to go after a long day at the beach or exploring the surrounding areas- take a glass of wine and just sit out and enjoy the views. Mountains in the distance on one side and endless ocean on another, absolutely beautiful.

Best time to go
The warmest months are between May and October- definitely the best time to visit and enjoy the beach – but I’d think August is too busy for our taste.

Be aware
Must pay an extra fee to enjoy hotel amenities on the beach; some rooms are still in need of upgrading.

From $480.00.
