The London Edition

“When I was tasked with planning my buddy’s bachelor party, I knew it had to be in London because we all lived there in our 20’s together. After collecting some recommendations from friends, we settled on The London Edition. My mates could not have been more pleased with my picking this hotel. It’s the perfect spot for a young group of friends looking to have a great time.

It’s technically in the Fitzrovia neighborhood of London, but is really only a block away from Soho, which was perfect for when we wanted to go out. The beauty of staying here though, is that you never have to leave even if you want a “night out.” We started out at Berners Tavern for dinner, where everything is locally sourced and it was exquisite. The lamb was beautiful and the selection of deserts is definitely worth saving space for. Next, we headed to Punch Room, the reservations only bar nestled at the back of the hotel. It was packed with young people chatting away and enjoying the bar’s namesake cocktail, the Punch Bowl. They have a slew of other amazing specialty punches as well, all to be enjoyed with the blues music blasted overhead. At one point, we noticed that bartender was hand cutting the ice cubes – Amazing attention to detail! The hotel overall is very trendy, and is frequented by London locals, not just full of hotel guests, which was a great way to meet new people familiar with the area and receive other recommendations. My only regret is that we only had two nights at the hotel.”
