The Resort at Pedregal

"My friend and I were in need of a quick getaway so my wonderful travel agent, Stefi, suggested The Resort at Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas. In just a short ride from the airport we found ourselves in paradise! This fabulous hotel is built into the mountain and only accessible by private tunnel. As you exit the tunnel you are greeted by the most incredible views of the Pacific Ocean. Amazing!

We had booked an Ocean View room but thanks to Stefi were upgraded to a Suite, we were so happy!  The rooms are designed in authentic Mexican style with lots of natural sunlight and a private terrace with an “infinity” plunge pool (all rooms have them)!  I have to say the service is really top notch. Each room and suite comes with its own personal assistant, you have to love that!   Breakfast was included in our “deal” with a great variety of healthy and delicious choices.   On our first night we had dinner at the hotel’s excellent seafood restaurant, El Farallon, which is not only popular with Pedregal guests but also with guests from properties around Cabo, it is simply a MUST!

Day two of our stay we took advantage of the beautiful Luna y Mar Spa.  In addition to their unique treatments that all include an incredible foot cleansing ritual beforehand (heavenly!), the spa offers various classes and has a well-equipped fitness center and hair salon.

After the spa we considered going into town but were feeling so relaxed and pampered that we decided to stay and lounge by the main pool and ended the day by sipping champagne and watching the incredible sunset from the privacy of our own plunge pool.  Later it was time for some room service, a perfect end to a perfect day!
